The Metaltorg.ru news agency reports, citing EU statistical services, that over the last month of summer, imports of raw chromium from Russia to the EU amounted to 516 tons, which is 73% more than in July. However, this figure is 39% lower than a year ago. It is reported that all products were sent to the Netherlands. The import price was 10 euros per kg.
In total, in the first eight months of 2022, Russia exported 7,070.7 tons of raw chromium to the EU countries (mainly to the Netherlands), which is 8% more than in the same period in 2021. In monetary terms, imports grew by 94%.
