Services

Smelting and production of forgings

01
Alloy smelting using pure charge materials such as iron, cobalt, nickel, chromium, molybdenum and others.
02
Smelting in open induction furnaces with a capacity of 1 ton and vacuum induction furnaces with a capacity of 0.5 tons.
03
Improving the quality and accuracy of the chemical composition of steels and alloys by electroslag remelting.
Advantages of smelting steels and precision alloys in vacuum
Additional information
We produce forgings using a steam-air hammer, which makes it possible to create forgings with the desired geometric shape in accordance with customer requirements.
Improving the quality of alloys
Due to the vacuum environment, the formation of gas bubbles and other defects in the alloy structure is eliminated, which leads to improved mechanical properties, homogeneity and stability.

Increasing the accuracy of the composition and product purity
Vacuum melting makes it possible to more accurately control the composition of the alloy, since it eliminates interaction with the surrounding atmosphere and the risk of material contamination.

Tape heat treatment

Annealing, normalization, hardening, tempering, aging both according to the modes established by the customer and according to the modes developed independently.
Heat treatment in vertical and horizontal pass-through furnaces.
Heat treatment in a protective atmosphere to maintain the purity of materials and improve their quality.
Advantages of heat treatment in a protective atmosphere
Protecting the alloy from contamination
The protective atmosphere prevents the processed material from coming into contact with harmful substances or contaminants that are present in the environment. This helps to keep the material clean during processing.
Uniform heat distribution
The protective atmosphere has improved thermal conductivity and heat transfer properties in comparison with the air atmosphere, which contributes to a more even distribution of heat throughout the entire mass of the processed material. This ensures a more accurate and uniform thermal effect and improves the quality of processing.
Preventing oxidation
The presence of a protective atmosphere prevents the interaction of the processed material with air oxygen, thereby preventing oxidation and the formation of undesirable oxidizing films on the surface of steel or alloy. This improves the safety and quality of the processed material.

Product quality control

There are five laboratories at the PZPS to control product quality:
01
X-ray spectral laboratory
Analysis of the chemical composition of steels and alloys. The analysis is carried out using X-ray fluorescence and atomic emission methods.
02
Mechanical laboratory
Determination of the main mechanical characteristics of materials: strength, hardness and elasticity.
03
Metallographic laboratory
Monitoring the macro- and microstructure of materials using reflected light optical microscopes.
04
Physical laboratory
Establishing the main physical characteristics of materials: coercive force, magnetic induction, magnetic permeability, specific losses, electrical resistance and linear thermal expansion coefficient.
05
Laboratory of linear-angle measurements.
Control of surface quality and tape flatness by measuring roughness and sickle shape.
