On St. Petersburg Precision Alloy Plant A pilot batch of cold-rolled strip made of high-quality heat-resistant nickel-chromium alloy alloyed with iron, molybdenum and niobium was successfully produced. This was the first experience of producing KhN53BMTYU using classical metallurgical technologies, rather than powder metallurgy. The mechanical properties of the alloy are similar to the well-known foreign material NN 718.
Nickel-chromium alloys are produced from pure charge materials by vacuum remelting. Thanks to alloying chromium, with iron, molybdenum et niobium the materials are ideal for use in extreme conditions, in particular for working at high temperatures.
Special properties of the alloy:
Heat-resistant nickel-chromium materials are well suited for heavy duty applications. They are widely used in various industries that require high resistance to high temperatures, aggressive environments and other extreme conditions, for example, when creating gas turbine engines and chemical equipment.
The production of heat-resistant nickel-chromium alloys opens up new prospects for the modern technological industry and underlines the plant's position as a leader in innovation and development.
Research Center (PZPS Research Center) specializes in the development, research and implementation of innovative materials with outstanding characteristics. The PZPS Research Center is not only creating and improving the materials themselves, but also developing technologies and methods for their use in various industries.
One of the key objectives of the center is to continuously improve the chemical composition and production technologies of alloys in order to improve their physical and mechanical properties.
In an effort to maintain the highest quality standards, the PZPS Research Center is strengthening its position as a reliable research and innovation partner. Cooperation with leading enterprises and organizations allows the center to strengthen its position in the development and use of heat-resistant materials, contributing to progress in the technological field.
