According to the magazine “Profile”, the construction of an industrial complex with its own laboratory for creating domestic metal-cutting tools for hard-to-process materials used in aircraft construction, mechanical engineering and other industries has begun in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
The goal of the project is import substitution in the production of axial carbide and ceramic tools for cutting metals that are difficult to process. The complex is being built by the Krasny Oktyabr NGO. The volume of investments amounts to 400 million rubles. Tool production is scheduled to start in 2024.
