At the same time, the price of aluminum cable is 40% lower than that of copper. In addition, aluminum cable is safe, and its weight is 20-50% lower than copper cable, which also attracts builders. Russian manufacturers have already begun to actively develop innovative products from this material.
Currently, the share of aluminum cable products in Russia is low. When it comes to construction, copper accounts for about 80%. In the power industry, copper wiring takes up about 20%.
