Russian Railways has extended discounts on the transportation of metals and ores
Thus, discounts are extended for 2023:
up to 50% — for domestic transportation of goods over short distances;
50% — for the transportation of ferrous metals through the Samur border crossing on the border with Azerbaijan and then through the Beyuk-Kyasik-Gardabani border crossing on the Azerbaijani-Georgian border;
8.5% — for transporting copper concentrate from Gay station to Mednogorsk station;
16.8% — for the transportation of ilmenite concentrate from Olekma station to Rybniki station;
10.7% — for the transportation of copper ore from the Rezh station at the Verkhnyaya and Ezhevaya stations;
47% — for the transportation of rolled ferrous metals from Polevskaya station to Kamensk-Uralsky station.
Russian Railways also noted that the previous package of preferences for the transportation of goods in refrigerated containers in a wide range of destinations has been updated.
